Guitarists Biréli Lagrène, Martin Taylor, and Ulf Wakenius showcase their mastery in The Great Guitars™, a concert blending virtuosity, emotion, and humor. This 21st-century version of a legendary 1970s jazz guitar group features solo, duet, and trio performances, combining Taylor's fingerstyle, Lagrene's technique, and Wakenius' versatility. These three guitarists have worked with top artists like Tommy Emmanuel, Wynton Marsalis, and Bob Dylan.

The bank
The former counter hall of the Sparda Bank branch at Stuttgart's main railway station was once transformed into a chic event location - and has since been a safe bank for top-class jazz concerts during the festival. Traditionally, the jazzopen are opened here - with the awarding of the German Jazz Trophy. Under the motto "A Life for Jazz", deserving artists receive this award from the foundation Stiftung Kunst und Kultur der Sparda-Bank Baden-Württemberg.
