Mourning [A] BLKstar
BLACK CULTURE
Mourning [A] BLKstar is a multi-generational, gender- and genre-non-conforming collective of Black culture dedicated to sharing stories and songs about America's unfolding apocalypse. Their music blends live instrumentation with hip-hop production, creating sonic frequencies that illuminate the African Diaspora. Founded in Cleveland, the US-based Afrofuturist collective continues to tour their music globally across Europe and the US, playing festivals such as Crossing Borders in Berlin with Lonnie Holley, Big Ears Festival, and Le Guess Who? in Utrecht.

BIX Jazzclub
The heart
Bathed in dim light, the small club stage encourages artists to give great concerts. Thanks to first-class technology, the best sound is guaranteed, as is a great atmosphere. The BIX, named one of the world's 50 best jazz clubs by Down-Beat magazine in 2012, is the heart of the festival - and the meeting place for experts, night owls and festival guests who can't get enough.
