Ezra Collective's upcoming album, Dance, No One’s Watching, is a celebration of the liberating power of dance, inspired by their travels and performances around the world in 2023. The album explores diverse musical influences, from London’s vibrant cultural tapestry to global sounds like West African highlife, Chicago House, and Black Church music. Written and recorded on tour, it reflects the universal joy and connection found on dance floors across the globe.

The band, formed in 2012 at the Tomorrow’s Warriors youth club, has grown into one of Britain’s most innovative musical acts, blending jazz with genres like hip-hop, salsa, dub, and reggae. Their journey has been marked by historic milestones, including their Mercury Prize win in 2023. With guest appearances from artists like Yazmin Lacey, Olivia Dean, and Moonchild Sanelly, the album is both deeply personal and inclusive, embodying the collective spirit of the band. Set for release in fall 2024, Dance, No One’s Watching is a bold testament to music’s ability to unify, heal, and inspire.

The Counts and Dukes of Württemberg once set the tone here. Today, the jazzopen do the same every July. South German Renaissance and contemporary music merge into a highly emotional experience.
