VERSATILE
Random/Control, David Helbock's prominent music project, celebrates its 15th anniversary, having performed globally. After releasing three albums, they are set to release a new album in early 2025, recorded during a live session at Little Big Beat Studio. Their previous album Think of Two featured contributions from Hermeto Pascoal. The trio's distinctive sound is defined by their use of over 20 instruments. Helbock, along with musicians Andreas Broger and Johannes Bär, has composed new pieces, including poems by William Blake and Emily Dickinson, which will be sung by the versatile jazz singer Fola Dada, known for her groundbreaking vocal style.

BIX Jazzclub
The heart
Bathed in dim light, the small club stage encourages artists to give great concerts. Thanks to first-class technology, the best sound is guaranteed, as is a great atmosphere. The BIX, named one of the world's 50 best jazz clubs by Down-Beat magazine in 2012, is the heart of the festival - and the meeting place for experts, night owls and festival guests who can't get enough.
